Fear not.. I am not going to put you to sleep by “blowing my own trumpet” or narrating to you how I managed to bend the rainbow or build a bridge to Heaven and what not… πŸ™‚

I am this “yet” another guy on the internet who is blogging technical posts, not for the sake of it, or for the sake of seeking publicity, but with an intention of doing whatever I can, to share what I have learnt with others, who might have been looking for information, just like me on the net.

If you find things useful, let me know.. If you feel my posts suck or bore you to death, feel free to navigate away…

And yes, I am a person who is aspiring on two things to be done…

1. Be called as an Automation Architect some day..

2. See my name in one of the commits on the “Selenium” codebase !!

Someday, I hope to achieve both these !

Until then, I will continue to share what I know.. here… !

Oh btw, if you have any queries or doubts related to any of the posts, I would strongly encourage you to post it as a query on either the TestNG or the Selenium Google forums. I pretty much view all the mails there. I don’t frequent the blog site that often unless and until I am writing up a new post (which you can see has also become very rare these days….).

  28. Krishnan, definitely i would do that , I trying to implement the same in the current frame work, the only challenge facing is that I was previously passing the driver reference to other classes , trying to figure if i could pass the getDriver() to other classes. In the mean while I would like to know about the other case as well

  32. Hi Sir,

    I would be eager to know how to deploy custom servlets to extend both Hub and Nodes into Selenium Grid; I am using Selenium Grid β€œselenium-server-standalone-3.5.3”. I would be very thankful if you let me know the exact packaging (the directory structure) and deployment process; I want to extend some functionalities of Nodes and Hub in order to meet my requirements.

  33. Hi Sir,
    I have a question.
    I’m getting Error: Could not find or load main class org.testng.TestNG with selenium-server-standalone-3.9.1.jar
    But the same works fine with selenium-server-standalone-2.39.0.

    Do you have any idea on this?

    Thank,
    Senthil

  35. Hi Krishnan, I need help. Could you please answer this question posted in stackoverflow: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49330837/testng-separate-test-results-for-each-instance-of-factory-dataset-returned-fr

    Basically, I have factory data provider. Dataprovider is fetching data from .xls. Lets say it returns 2 rows i.e 2 instances of datasets running against a class(set in factory) which has 2 test cases. I want results separated as mentioned in the post with unique instance name.

    List logEntries = driver.manage().logs().get(LogType.BROWSER).getAll();
    //logEntries.getAll();
    for (LogEntry entry : logEntries) {
    System.out.println(entry.getMessage());
    }
    I am using this code with DesiredCapabilities but I get a message with around 78 character which is some icon and rest data for truncated. Is there a way to get the full message? appreciate your help.
